ACT! Tips and tricks

  • Tip #101 - Hotkey F4! Did you know that pressing the F4 key brings up the mini calendar? And that bolded items in the mini Calendar indicates dates with scheduled items?
  • Tip #102 - Audit trail all documents for your client! Drag and drop documents directly from desktop or file location in Windows Explorer into the Documents tab of your Contact Record! This enables great audit trail of documents within your client record. Very useful for record-keeping of invoices, quotations, proposals!
  • Tip #103 - Enter a one single note against multiple contacts! Simply create the 'Record History', and instead of staying with the current contact record name; click on the box "contacts". Here you can select all the contact records you by simply double-clicking and adding it to the list. Click save and there you have it - the same note against multiple clients! And you only had to enter it once.

As of July 1, 2007, some of the pricing for Xact Software services will change. Please note: pricing excludes GST

  • Onsite visit travel charge - now $35 per site visit;
  • After Hours fee - now $330 per visit. Please note that After Hours work must be pre-arranged;
  • Urgent callout fee - now $330 per urgent callout. This applies to same day call-and-visit work.
